Team SUZUKI MotoGP and John Hopkins are in Istanbul for this weekend’s inaugural Turkish MotoGP at the world’s newest race-track.
Hopkins will have a weekend of double firsts, it will be his first visit to Turkey for a MotoGP and the first time this season that he has been the sole-rider for Team SUZUKI MotoGP - Kenny Roberts Jr will not be in Turkey due to the broken wrist that he suffered in Australia last weekend. Hopkins will no doubt be hoping to add to his list of firsts by going all out for his first ever podium. |

The Istanbul circuit is one of the few circuits that is negotiated in an anticlockwise direction.
Its layout makes the task of finding the right settings for the bike very complicated because there is a mix of very fast corners taken at full throttle and also very slow corners. In addition the constant changes in elevation will make it even more difficult to find the correct suspension settings in the short space of time available in practice before the race. |

What is MotoHero? MotoHero is a lifestyle site for moto/sportbike enthusiasts.
Who is MotoHero? MotoHero is a guy that got sick of the forums, and sick of the websites that serve up roadracing news. So he built MotoHero, to create a cultural site that affords moto enthusiats a new way of meeting new people, the freshest news and their own space to talk about life.
Whats to come? MotoHero will be rolling out a calendar to track all of the events related to sportbiking. Soon the mobile module will be available, so you will be able to access the site from your mobile device.(registered users only). And even later on down the line we hope to even provide you streaming media to your mobile device.
What else? Please by all means, feel free to write us, tell us something, sign up, submit news. We update the content as soon as we get it. We will be finding some writers soon too!! lets hope. Create a profile, and be awesome.
